Introduction
At OG Solver, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our API services. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.
Data Controller
IDE Host (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. ("IDE Host", "Progearly", "progearly.com", "we", "us") is committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We collect only the data needed to operate our Chrome extension and billing service; we do not store the actual text of your prompts or AI-generated outputs beyond the immediate API call.
Personal Information Collected
We collect standard personal data necessary for account registration and billing, including your name, email address, phone number, and payment information. For example, when you register or purchase credits, you submit your name, contact details, and payment card information (credit card owner name, billing address, card number, expiration date, CVV). We do not collect or retain sensitive data (e.g., health, race, biometric data). All personal information you provide is securely stored.
Usage and Analytics
We log usage metrics to manage billing and improve service. This includes the number of API calls you make, the mode used (Quiz, Explanation, Writing, Blog), and the count of tokens used per call. We explicitly do not store the content of your queries or the AI's responses. Our servers treat each query content as ephemeral and delete it after the API call returns, retaining only aggregated usage data.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for session management and site analytics. Cookies help keep you logged in and improve user experience. These cookies do not contain sensitive personal data and can be disabled in your browser if you wish. We use industry-standard analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor site performance, but we do not combine analytics data with your personal account information.
Use of Collected Information
We use your personal data to provide the service, process payments, and communicate with you (e.g., account updates, support). For billing, we share necessary payment details with our payment processor, Razorpay. Razorpay's own privacy policy confirms they collect and process information such as name, email, phone number, and billing details. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Data is only shared with third-party service providers (like Razorpay or cloud hosting services) under strict confidentiality, and only as needed for processing payments or providing the API backend.
Data Security
We implement robust security measures to protect your data. All sensitive data (including API keys and personal information) is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. API keys are never exposed in client-side code; instead, they are securely validated on our server side. As recommended by best practices, we keep API keys hidden from the browser to prevent unauthorized use. Our payment system is PCI-DSS compliant via Razorpay, ensuring credit card data is handled securely. We also enforce rate limits on API key usage to prevent abuse. In line with industry standards, our systems use firewalls, encryption, and access controls to safeguard data.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. If you close your account or request deletion, we will erase your personal information (except for any anonymized usage records needed for auditing/billing) within a reasonable time. Aggregate or anonymized analytics (which do not identify you) may be kept longer for business analysis. Our policy is in line with GDPR best practices: we will erase personal data without undue delay if it is no longer necessary for the purposes collected.
Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
You have rights over your data. If you are in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. For example, GDPR guarantees the right to rectify inaccurate personal data and the "right to be forgotten" (erasure of data under certain conditions). To exercise these rights or object to any processing, please contact us at the address below. We will comply with valid requests promptly.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected a child's data, we will delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any material changes will be posted on our website (with a new "Effective Date"). We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
